We are NAVFAC Washington, one of nine Facility Engineering Commands within the NAVFAC Enterprise, specifically the Public Works Directorate within NAVFAC Washington.

The Public Works Directorate represents the combined Federal Service Government employees and contractor labor forces who maintain and sustain the shore infrastructure at the Navy installations in the National Capitol Region. The Government employee force is comprised of employees in the General Schedule as well as the Wage Grade Schedule.
