As an integral part of the Naval Facilities Engineering Command (NAVFAC) enterprise, we at NAVFAC Mid-Atlantic (NAVFAC MIDLANT) are the Navy's installation facility experts, managing the planning, design, and construction of shore facilities for the U.S. Navy.

Headquartered in Norfolk, Virginia, we fully support the mission of Commander, Navy Region Mid-Atlantic (CNRMA) and Commander, Navy Installations Command (CNIC) to enable and enhance Navy combat power by providing the most effective, efficient and cost-wise shore services and support.

We are a Federal employer providing facilities engineering, public works and environmental products and services to Navy and Marine Corps Commands across an area or responsibility that spans from Maine to Georgia and as far west as Illinois.

Our professional workforce includes 100 Officers and enlisted personnel, and more than 3,300 civilian personnel. And that number is growing! Led by Commanding Officer Capt. Gordon E.
