Donations The SMSA Scholarship The Seabee Memorial Scholarship Association invites you to explore the opportunity of creating a permanent legacy through endowing a "Named" Scholarship. SMSA's scholarships are designed to recognize and reward the high standards of character, citizenship, and scholarship consistent with Seabee ideals and are available for the sons, daughters, and grandchildren of former, present, and future Seabees. Endowing an SMSA Scholarship will ensure that your generosity will continue to be recognized for generations to come. The greatest benefit comes from planning your gift which can be made in a variety of ways. The Combined Federal Campaign (CFC) The Combined Federal Campaign (CFC) is the annual federal workplace charity campaign conducted throughout the world. Pledges made by Federal civilian, postal and military donors during the campaign season (September 1 through December 15) support the SMSA and its scholarship program. For Fall 2008 Combined Federal Campaign, Seabee Memorial Scholarship is listed under the Human Care Charities Federation. The CFC number 11959. Exploring a Planned Gift A Planned Gift is any gift other than a spontaneous gift. Planning your contribution to the SMSA can maximize the efficiency of your charitable gift. Furthermore, since most of your assets are not likely to be in the form of cash, planned giving offers a variety of giving options other than gifts from your cash assets including: Planned Gifts should be implemented with the advice of your financial and legal professionals.
